10th European Championships in Völklingen, Germany
from October 5th to October 7th 2007


1st German Open : 1-dog Scooter


The CBVD organizes a German Open for 1-dog Scooter as a demonstration race.

Race rules
-  The minimum age of the dog is 12 months completed.
-  The dog will carry obligatorily a harness which will not exceed or bless him.
-  Line is provided with a shock absorber.
-  The length of line is 2.50 m to the maximum in extension (distance from the the scooter to the dog).
-  Line is fixed in front of the scooter (in no case the line can be fixed on the sportmen).
-  The dog must run in front of the scooter, but to the maximum at the level of the competitor. Not behind.
-  The port of the helmet and the gloves is obligatory.
-  The port of the glasses is recommended.
-  Metal mudguards are prohibited.
-  It is strictly forbidden to change dog during the competition.

Dogs

Dogs which take part in the European Championships, either in Canicross or in Bikejöring, are not authorized to take part in the Scooter !

Notice

The Scooter category is not part of the ECF disciplines and the organization of this competition is done under responsability of the CBVD only. This race will take place after the ECF races.
